Nurturing Today, Shaping Tomorrow
Our Mission
At Growing Tree Elementary School, we provide a caring and stimulating learning environment where children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Located in Opah–Amasaman, Greater Accra, we serve families from Kindergarten through Primary 6.
Our dedicated teachers combine the Ghanaian national curriculum with creative, hands-on learning. We believe that every child is a seed full of potential — with deep roots in character and branches reaching toward excellence.
Growing Minds, Building Character. This is not just our motto — it is the promise we make to every family who entrusts their child to our care.
Why Choose Us
A strong academic foundation that prepares children for success in secondary school and beyond.
We nurture integrity, respect, and kindness — because who a child becomes matters as much as what they know.
A clean, child-friendly environment where every child feels secure, valued, and supported.
Sports, arts, ICT, and extracurricular activities that develop the whole child.
We work hand-in-hand with families to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Our Proprietress
Proprietress & Founder
I am a Ghanaian, born and raised in the Greater Accra region. Most of my adult life was lived outside of Ghana, but I always stayed close to my roots. As a trained nurse and educator, I am deeply passionate about nurturing and teaching children.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Purdue Global University in the United States. My journey in healthcare and education has shown me that every child deserves a learning environment that is safe, joyful, and rooted in strong values.
My faith and belief led me to create Growing Tree Elementary School. I am bringing the education standards from the United States together with the rich culture we have here in Ghana, to give our children the best of both worlds.
“I want every parent who trusts us with their child to know: I will do my best to ensure the success of your child.”
Academics & Programs
Our curriculum follows Ghanaian national education standards while incorporating creative, experiential learning that keeps children engaged and excited to learn.
English, Ghanaian languages, and reading comprehension that build confident communicators and lifelong readers.
From number sense to problem-solving, we make math tangible and fun through games, puzzles, and real-world applications.
Hands-on experiments and nature exploration that spark curiosity about the world and how it works.
Art, music, drama, and creative expression that develop imagination and self-confidence in every child.
Computer literacy and internet skills that prepare children for a digital world, with supervised access in our computer lab.
Sports, movement, and health education that build strong bodies, teamwork, and healthy habits for life.
